Volunteers Give Back

May 2nd, 2012    Back To News

Friday, March 2nd, many Clermont County families, friends & co-workers experienced a devastating event. All of us were impacted in one way or another. Directly or indirectly, we all felt compelled to help.

As a community, you stepped up to the plate… With more than 25 deliveries, thousands of can goods, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning items, baby items, gloves, batteries, personal care, non-perishable food, more ramen noodles than we ever imagined (still looking for a ramen noodle cookbook), hundreds of can openers, pillows, blankets, coats, toys, clothing, and tarps. We filled 1 Semi trailer for Matthew 25 Ministries and delivered a couple of wheel barrels along with rakes and shovels. You opened your wallets to donate checks and gift cards, not to mention 1 bottle of Holy Water from Falmouth, Kentucky. We at the Clermont County Fair thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Without everyone who volunteered and donated, this would not have been possible. We have true community spirit and big hearts!
